What is CMS?
CMS stands for ‘Content Management System’ which basically means you can log into your website and edit text and images yourself. Modern websites feature CMS more and more. You can access your CMS from any computer with an Internet connection.
What is hosting?
Hosting is access to the server where your websites files are stored. Hosting fees cover the data costs that occur when a Internet user downloads your website (visits it). Hosting fees are like your cell phone plan – it covers the cost of using your phone to ring and text. Similarly hosting covers the cost of people using your website.
Do you write content for websites or should I provide this?
Site Jet crafts suitable text for your website, following best practises for Google search and for maximising inquiries from your website. We can work off text you provide us, or by using existing sales material you might have (eg. brochures or manuals).
What is a ‘domain name’?
Your domain name is the address typed in to access your website eg. www.yourbusiness.co.nz
It costs to register and hold a domain name. We can investigate and advise of domain name availability. They are also called ‘web addresses’, ‘URL’ and ‘domain’.
Can you do logo design?

What does SEO mean?
